About Wilding Ceramics
Leah is a ceramic artist based in Southern Ontario, whose work is deeply inspired by the natural landscapes she has called home. Growing up in Ontario, she spent summers immersed in the rugged playground of Killarney Provincial Park and the Bruce Peninsula, experiences that instilled a lifelong connection to the elements—rock, wind, water, and sky.
In 2008, Leah ventured west to Alberta, where she spent 16 years, including seven transformative years living in Jasper. The dramatic landscapes of the Rockies, along with the people and wildlife that define the region, became integral to her artistic voice. Recently, she returned to Ontario to be closer to family, bringing with her the rich textures, forms, and memories of the places that have shaped her creativity.
